Tom O’Brien illustrated and lettered Detour featured in Oneshi Press Comic Anthology 8 and Detour: Part Two featured in Oneshi Press Comic Anthology 9.
Tom O’Brien is a freelance cartoonist and illustrator living in upstate New York and a 2014 graduate of the Center for Cartoon Studies. He is currently working on The Liquor Cabinet, a non-fiction graphic novel about the history of the world’s most popular liquors. He contributes a monthly food comic to The Chopping Blog, the blog for America’s largest recreational cooking school, as well as self-publishing several works, most of which can be found on his website, tomobriencomics.com. After a couple of years focusing on non-fiction, he is thrilled to be re-engaging with fantasy, a genre he has always loved. He lives with his partner, Allison, and their anti-social cat, Elspeth.
