Kevin “Kreepy” Sheely

Kevin illustrated Trouble With A Capital T in Oneshi Press Comic Anthology 3, wrote and drew Kit & Kat got Bats for Brains Presents: Visceral Video in Oneshi Press Comic Anthology 5 and co-wrote, illustrated & lettered Finn: Guardian of the Five Gates in Oneshi Press Comic Anthology 8. He also received an Artist Spotlight in Oneshi Press Comic Anthology 8.

Kevin Sheely, or “Kreepy,” as he signs his work, is a self taught cartoonist, painter, and also musician from Phoenix, AZ. He drew as a child but was mostly focused on music. When he was 22 years old he was inspired to start collecting comics after being exposed to Frank Miller and after a few years he decided to devote himself more to his art and to eventually become a comic book artist.

Influenced by horror, comedy, and underground comics he created the web comic, “Kit and Kat Got Bats for Brains,” followed by the self released first issue of that series. He is also an accomplished writer and has exhibited paintings at local Phoenix art shows. His overall influences include: Frank Miller, Mike Mignola, Ec Comics, Kevin Eastman, Bill Watterson, Bill Sienkiewicz, painter Robert Williams, and Daniel Clowes.

He currently lives in Phoenix, AZ with his wife, author Desiree King and their son.
