One of my earliest memories is my mother taking me to the public library at the age of four, which is where my love for books and the written word started, leading to such discoveries as Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clarke, and Terry Pratchett.

When I was ten, she bought me my first graphic novel, ElfQuest volume two. I was a moderate comic reader prior to that point, but it was looking through those pages that I developed a love for the medium which has stuck with me for more than three decades. So, Mom, this is all your fault.
