The Eternals stem from the original ten basic elemental spirits who seeded Gaia with life. As life on Gaia developed into various sentient races, with them developed the sentience of the Eternals. Gaia chose mortal beings as hosts, granting them the vast elemental powers of the Eternals in exchange for sharing their physical form. They were appointed by Gaia to protect the balance that allows life to grow and prosper; they taught and guided the developing wisdom of the flourishing sentient creatures. The mortals chosen by Gaia became part of the Eternals’ immortal existence. Throughout history, many societies of Ordos, Draedos, and Faedos worshipped these beings.
Eblenara, Eternal of Water, represents the fluidity of life, ever changing, soothing, and raging. She, like the element she represents, is possessed of unfathomable adaptability coupled with indomitable will. Eblenara is associated with soothing, replenishment, and fluidity. She teaches that void is the mold in which form is cast. Blue translucent stones carved into a swoop or a teardrop shape are often used to represent her.
