What the heck is a Patreon?
Patreon is a crowdfunding platform that’s aimed primarily at helping people create things. Oneshi Press, for instance, funds part of the printing of its comics anthologies using Patreon. But, unlike other crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter or IndieGoGo, which are one-time campaigns that fund single projects, Patreon runs on a long-term subscription model. That means that Oneshi Press supporters pledge whatever amount they can, and that amount is billed to them on the first of every month for as long as they’re subscribed.
This way, we have a steady stream of patron-generated income that we can count on every month. That income keeps this ship afloat, the lights on, and publications in the works!

Every three months, Oneshi Press publishes a brand-new comics anthology, featuring serial installments of our own projects, alongside short comics from other creators from around the world. Our anthologies are getting better all the time, and we’re so proud of them. You can buy them when they’re released every three months, but we’ve had a bunch of inquiries about how to subscribe to automatically receive every new anthology when it’s released.
Well, check it out: Supporters of our Patreon who pledge $5 or more a month get PDFs of all our comics anthologies when they’re ready. And supporters who pledge $10 or more a month get print copies mailed to them every three months. That’s a subscription to our anthology, plus tons of other goodies that come along with your pledge!
